 I believe we as humans have no problem of being "brothers". I think we have a big problem of controlling the population. The passanger capacity of the Spaceship Gaia is not 7 billion. The problems of controlling the "passanger capacity" is also very related to so called "procrastination"-challenge. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Procrastination

It is also called in systemic sciences the as "the single loop learning"-paradigm. In finance, it is called quartal-thinking. It may also be described as hedonistic approach to living. In short, it means that we think and do things short-sighted, because we want to maximize our own and our family benefits in a short term. That is also why we are after quick results in our work. For instance, we tend to prioritize non-important emails over our more important long term tasks.

Most of us are totally unable to think on a higher levels of consciousness and awareness, such as community level or global scale. We are not equipped to think what is happening to the nature. And even family level is many times too much for us.

We admire persons who sacrifice their short-term benefits over long-term goals, that may stretch and span even over lifetimes. But does it have to become a trade-off in loving people around us and in our daily encounters?

Of course it doesn't.

Getting the work done by-passes the empathy of how our friends, family and co-workers FEEL. And that is a BIG problem. We are not equipped to make them FEEL better, we are just equipped to just finish our daily work.

And not to just theorize on this subject: I can sure admit being quilty as charged.

I think especially in Finland, there is this "engineering or logical paradigm" of thought as the mainstream. It really woke me up yesterday, when I was listening lectures about Finnish Education System. Why we are so good? We have teachers who act as engineers in their profession. I feel a little bit sorry for us Finns. We are so capable of dealing logical issues around management, engineering, design and teaching, but we are so totally inadept to deal FEELINGS.

Is it because what feelings tell us? They actually tell us that we have forgot (in many cases) the big picture of the universe or our lives. We are crying, because we deeply and intuitively understand the procrastination challenge of the humanity and the destructive forces of our planet and our lives. And the reason why we don't encounter these feelings is that we WANT TO FORGET the challenges of our lives and our planet. We just want to play our tiny little games of imaginary virtual progression.

We want to protect ourselves and our close ones from the harsh and deadly reality of global community and nature. We want to MAKE SURE nothing ever touches us in a bad way. We want to build UTOPIA: whether within our own family, our own enterprise, our own community. And coming back to the real problem: we are UNABLE to do that in joyful and happy minded and manner, because the Spaceship Gaia is overcrowded. We can see that fact everywhere in our daily lives.

When we acknowledge the fact that EVERYBODY is trying to get the BUSINESS CLASS OR VIP SEATING in the Spaceship Gaia - and protecting their own seats, mostly with fierce measures, we understand that our most SACRED VALUE of HUMAN LIFE is at stake.

So far, the history of humanity has been mostly about CONQUERING AND MULTIPLYING. I think it is the first time in the history of humanity, that we could exert population control and share resources more evenly throughout the globe.

First time. Of course every nation has had their opportunities to exert population control and share resources evenly, but many have failed to do so. It is the FEAR of CONQUIRING and COMPETITION that still thrives in most nations. How to overcome these fears?

Then what are the needed steps EVERYBODY MUST TAKE?

1. We have to start learn the secrets of empathy and focus on self-development as feeling and caring person.
2. We have to start understanding and develop our relationships towards our family and friends. We have to start study and exert the art of LOVE.
3. We have to take part in our communities, advocate moral values, such as equality, honesty and freedom. We have to study our communities, how and why they work as they do.
4. We have to promote and select LEADERS for our communities that build trust, harmony and are LIVING REPRESENTATIVES of those less protective and less conquiring-focused values.
5. We have to study nature within our bodies, our mind and in our environment. We have to start co-exist and co-create with the nature in a sustainable manner. Body is the temple, that must be taken care of. Also the nature: forest, trees, grassland, rivers, lakes, oceans are the temples that must be understood and studied. Especially the nature that is put directly into our control, but also the public nature.
6. We have to DEVELOP INNOVATIONS, that don't harm OUR nature or the SURROUNDING nature. We have to develop innovations that don't harm our LOVE and RELATIONSHIPS, that don't harm our values of OPENNESS, HONESTY, EQUALITY.

As a conclusion: I think the MOST IMPORTANT THINK is that we develop innovations, that don't mess our MINDS and make us EVACUATE from the reality.
